Hello again and welcome back to school to all Form 5 students. I’ve been away for a long time because I was sick (still am but more manageable now yay!). I hope everyone else is doing okay.
Today, my students attempt to answer this essay question:
| You are one of the candidates sitting for the SPM 2020 examination which has been postponed to the quarter of 2021. Describe the events leading to the unexpected delay and explain how you feel about it. At the end of your essay, state one lesson that you have learnt from this experience. |
In the Introduction, students write about their feelings at the beginning of the year 2020. Then, they detail the COVID-19 outbreak and the Movement Control Order (MCO) that eventually led to the postponement of the examination. Some other details include how their studies and revisions are impacted, the advantages and disadvantages of the delay and their feelings throughout the whole experience.
